Welcome toBraishfield Primary School

Curriculum Overviews

We may be a small school but we have big aspirations. Here at Braishfield Primary School we are committed to delivering a broad, rich curriculum that excites curiosity, challenges thinking and which inspires our children to develop a lifelong love of learning. We want the voices of our children to drive our curriculum.

All year groups, except Year R, work on a two-year cycle of planning with a clear progression of skills to ensure that all our pupils develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to attain highly and to ultimately prepare them well for secondary school.

More details about what drives our curriculum, how we deliver it and its intended impact can be found in 'The Braishfield Primary School Curriculum'

Here you will find an overview of our two-year curriculum cycle for each subject together with our progression of skills across the year groups.
